metadata boxes shouldn't be in a hard grid layout

the metadata boxes should be placed one under the other if there isn't enough space left like in cosmol

all content pages with mor than one column need an id to resolve that issue
follwing selectors are possible:

$('#main_content_column #main_col')
$('#main_content_column #aux_col')
